When do you need a Shower installation?
When you are renovating your bathroom, replacing an old or broken shower, or upgrading to a more efficient or modern model.
What happens on the day
A qualified plumber or electrician will visit your property. They will prepare the area, install the shower unit, connect the water supply and drainage, and ensure all electrical components (if applicable) are safely wired. They will test the shower thoroughly before finishing.
How to prepare
- Clear the bathroom area around the existing shower or installation site.
- Ensure easy access to the main water shut-off valve.
- Have your chosen shower unit and any specific fixtures ready.
- Remove any personal items from the bathroom.
- Notify your neighbours if water will be turned off temporarily.
How to improve your result
- Consider a thermostatic mixer shower for better temperature control.
- Install a water-saving showerhead to reduce consumption.
- Choose a high-quality shower tray to prevent leaks.
- Add an extractor fan for ventilation to prevent dampness.
Why it is useful day to day
A reliable and efficient shower enhances your daily routine, providing comfort and convenience. A well-installed shower also helps prevent water damage and ensures a pleasant bathroom experience.
